Cette série photographique met en avant trois femmes (comme les trois Gorgones aux ailes d'or qu'étaient Médusa et ses deux soeurs) qui ont vécu des épreuves de vie. Cet ensemble existe en une installation photographique mobile, évoquant la méduse. Il est également publié en un petit leporello, objet photographique qui honore leur puissance et leur résilience.
Medusa, a figure from Greek mythology, has fuelled a number of myths. She can be seen as the archetype of feminine power and the power of the gaze. Beautiful, she was the object of betrayal and spells, and was known to be able to turn those who looked at her into stone. From tragedy, she drew unshakeable strength.
This photographic series focuses on three women (like the three golden-winged Gorgons that were Medusa and her two sisters) who have experienced life's trials. The series exists as a mobile photographic installation, reminiscent of a jellyfish. It has also been published as a small leporello, a photographic object honouring their power and resilience.
