Collective exhibition of 4 photographers - Transfiguration | Otherworldly Bodies
Projects presented : AmeAde, Medusa & Rien ne roule sauf moi
Introduction by Diana Lui, curator : Her series AmeAde explores female bodies marked by life, her own and other women's - pain, ruptures, illnesses, but also desire, love and rebirth. Avaux draws parallels between the female body and the evanescence of nature. In this sensitive, committed and powerful approach, she reveals plural souls, silent gestures; resilience incarnated. She experiments further this healing and metamorphosis by transforming her portraits into palpable, organic and mechanical structures as Medusa and Nothing Rolls Except Me demonstrate.

Introduction by Ramon Casalé Soler, art critic, museologist, historian and art appraiser : In Anne Avaux's work, colour stands out above all. It may look like a pictorial work, but it is not. Trough the forms she uses, the artist works above all on the theme of the body, especially the female body, as one might do in a sculpture. For her, space, colour and form are fundamental.
